About Me

I am a Melbourne based artist, living in Mount Waverley.

My art practice centers on exploring and interpreting everyday items in a vivid and dynamic compositions of color and texture. Immortalising everyday moments in time by artistic expression, is a deeply emotive exercise for me, in which a creative process is a fine line between hope and contemplation.

I enjoy experimenting with various art forms. Each brushstroke in my paintings are carefully applied in order to make every touch of light and shade visible. I enjoy elevating colour lines and shape to create a link between ordinary and extraordinary. I strongly draw on contemporary, modernist art principles. I am interested in capturing the simplicity of everyday moments to and elevating them to a vivid, energetic palette.

Increasingly I have become more seduced by landscapes and seascapes, and the shadow play between light and dark, day and night. Capturing fragments of a flower’s bloom in order to eternalise its beauty and innocence.

To me, being an artist is a vulnerable path, I am motivated by creating deeply personal artworks whilst finding courage to share it with the world trying to evoke emotional and cognitive effects, to leave the most lasting impression on the viewer while challenging their imagination.

My work has been exhibited frequently in group and solo shows and can be found in private collections around the world.

“My art is my language. As an artist I love breaking boundaries, using my art to articulate my vision to challenge viewers' imagination, hoping to awake hidden feelings and create deeper meanings and lasting impressions.”
